Dispose of waste electrical and electronical equipment (WEEE)
Waste electrical and electronic equipment (hereinafter referred to collectively as "WEEE") must not be disposed of with household waste. They are marked with the symbol below. WEEE can be returned to waste and recylcing centers. Batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meanings: The crossed-out wheeled bin means: Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
Below the garbage bin symbol, the following information can indicate chemical ingredients:
- Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead
- Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 percent by mass of cadmium
- Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 percent by mass of mercury
As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries properly. Batteries can be returned in stores or at recycling centers. You can also send batteries back to us by post at the address below or return them directly to us during our opening hours (Mon - Thu 7:00 am to 4:15 pm and Fri 7:00 am to 1:45 pm).
