Insulating Glass Production
Insulating glass is a glazing unit made up of several parallel panes of glass, which is mainly used for window glazing or for glass facades. The gap between the individual panes of glass is generally filled with an inert gas. This reduces the thermal conductivity of the unit and increases its thermal insulation effectiveness.
In contrast to other types of thermally-insulating types of glazing, insulating glass is a stand-alone system that does not normally require a window frame or casement. An edge seal holds the individual panes of glass together at the right distance, while simultaneously hermetically sealing the space between the panes. This prevents the gas filling the unit from escaping or the ambient air and humidity from penetrating.
Since 1998 we have been working on applications of the most common spacer sealants such as polysulphide, polyurethane, silicone, hot melt and butyl, while steadily expanding our range of machines.
